Description:

The Forest Retirement Home is located in Piastów – a picturesque village by lake Foluskie; it is surrounded by forests and situated on the border between the Kujawsko-Pomorskie and Wielkopolskie provinces, in Żniński county, Gąsawa commune, in Pałuki – an ethnographic region whose wildlife has largely avoided harm. Pałuki is a peculiarly green nook on the map of Poland, often referred to as “Little Masuria” because of its large number of lakes.

Piastowo is situated between two big conurbations with airports: 37 miles from Bydgoszcz and 50 from Poznań. 12.5 miles from Piastów, you can find the S5 expressway and, further on, the highway A2, leading to the border between Poland and Germany. The total distance to the border crossing point is 143 miles, which it can be covered in 2.5 hours.

The Forest Retirement Home in Piastów, as decided by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province Governor on 26th June 2017, signature: WPS.III.9423.2.6.2017.SSz/PZ, has been listed in the register of institutions providing around-the-clock care for the disabled, chronically ill and elderly.

Our home is designed for 83 residents, whom we provide with single, double or triple rooms, furnished with beds or sofas, wardrobes, chairs, tables, armchairs and night stands. The rooms can be equipped with the resident’s furniture and personal belongings.
